Project Description

Jefferson Avenue

Jefferson Avenue - Woolf Architecture

The goal for this house was to create a classic design for this comfortable family home. The owners envisioned a clean, crisp look with white walls. The jumping off point in the design was a dramatic bay window at the front façade which spans floor to ceiling. The design idea was to segment the window vertically into three sections and then divide it further with lots of mullions to create this gorgeous bay window. This design was repeated at the back of the house with a bay window over a banquette seat where the owners’ three little daughters can cozy up for breakfast and snacks.

Upon entering the house, guests pass a gorgeous staircase and elegant dining room. The central hallway leads to a classically designed family room. At the family room, a pair of window seats flank the fireplace and are bordered by custom millwork. A wall of glass windows and French doors lead out to the covered porch with an outdoor kitchen and alfresco dining.
